news Association Sibra Sibra: L'heure bleue
One of our first events under the aegis of our newly created cultural association. Friday and Saturday 20 and 21 September 2024, starting at 8pm.
At the end of September, France will once again be celebrating the many monuments that adorn its towns and landscapes, from the Côte d’Azur to Brittany. The historic Château de Sibra, with its eventful history, also deserves special attention during these days. On this nostalgic Heritage Day, we’ll be following the artists’ collective “La Cerise sur le Noyau”, well known in the region, on a lyrical stroll through our romantic park. Muriel Thellier-Deville and Christophe Thellier’s ensemble is particularly profound in its content and sensationally mad in its expression. And what’s more, it’s closely linked to our region. A combination that suits us perfectly at Sibra. Indeed, when they’re not standing under an oak tree on the banks of our pond, they’re literally weaving forgotten stories with new thread, offering surprising glimpses of days gone by when the Ariège was still home to a legendary textile industry.
